To our energetic and handsome adviser of Management Society National, Dr. Lemuel L. Magracia. To our very supportive Head of Management Department, Dr. Ester T. Edralin. To the advisers of Junior Business Management Society, Dr. Vicente Camilo T. Mendez III and Prof. Benjie Gonzales. To all faculties, my co-officers, fellow students, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant morning to all of you.
To day we are celebrating the Annual General Assembly of JBMS with the theme, Leadership Development: Spreading the Substance to its Society wherein the primary purposes are:
to unite the interest of all CBET Students particularly the Management and Office Management Major and;
to promote friendship, camaraderie and fellowship amongst members, officers, faculties and the administration as a whole.
Your organization, JBMS is one of the umbrellas of CBET Student Council. Some organizations under our council are Junior Marketing Association (JMA), Philippine Association of Students in Office Administration (PASOA), and Junior Philippine Institute of Accountancy (JPIA). These organizations are extending their services to its constituents based on their field of specialization. Like for example your organization, JBMS, officers are conducted projects such as trainings and seminars regarding how to manage business in order to maintain it. They invited also some successful entrepreneurs to teach us and share to us how they succeed in their field. Those are some activities and accomplishments that JBMS were done.
In behalf of the CBET Student Council, I salute your organization, especially your president, Mr. Peter Paul de Galicia because all your projects and activities are concerned and focused for the betterment of the CBET Students.
Guys, I will take also this opportunity, to give you some projects and activities that the CBET Student Council were accomplished during our term SY: 2007-2008 because some concern students of CBET are asking, Ano nga ba ang nagawa ng CBET Student Council?
The CBETSC sponsored the Registration Fee of the 6 representatives on the last 2008 Management Society Seminar held at Jose Rizal University Auditorium, Mandaluyong City.
Gave financial assistance to Mr. Dave Jalosjos, a Management Student wherein his right knee was being fractured while practicing basketball for the University Week last year.
We conducted CBET Boot Camp last March 8-9, 2008 with the theme: A Journey Into a New Business Horizon, and some other activities and projects that too many to mention.
Before I end I would like to leave this message stated by the former President of America, John F. Kennedy.
Don’t ask for what the government can do for you.
But asked what you can do for your government.
Once again a wonderful morning to each and everyone.
