Myong on his adventure in El Nido, Palawan

Romeo A. Mataac, Jr. is the founder and editor in chief of Marinduque News Network. Concurrently, he is a researcher in a leading global professional services company. He has five year background experience in finance & accounting operations and business process outsourcing. He worked in Development Bank of the Philippines-Human Resources Department, Compensation and Benefits Management Division. He also served as a part time instructor in Rizal Technological University.

Romeo finished his bachelor’s degree in business through the scholarship program of Club Marinduqueno, Inc.

“I usually volunteer for initiatives related to youth empowerment. I’ve facilitated multiple workshops for Customer Service Essentials, Work Life Skills, Resume Writing and Job Interview for out of school youths,” - Romeo Mataac, Jr.

Myong, as he is fondly called by his peers, grew up in the town of Torrijos, Marinduque province. He loves traveling and doing community outreach activities particularly those initiatives related in youth empowerment.
